This Pokémon Unite update went live on August 4 at 12:00 PDT/08:00 BST. The patch notes outline the following changes:

Pokémon Unite update 1.1.1.3

This Pokémon Unite update adds Gardevoir to the roster of playable characters, you can pick it up from the shop for 8,000 Aeos coins. It also implemented a fix for Charizard’s use of the muscle band with its standard attack, meaning its damage output has dropped dramatically.

Smaller changes include minor bug fixes and some new items in the shop, these include an outfit for Gardevoir.

How do I update Pokémon Unite?

You will normally be prompted to update Pokémon Unite when you start the game, however, you can always check if an update is available by following these steps:

  • Find Pokémon Unite on the main menu
  • Press the + button
  • Scroll down to software update
