Who is Tower of Fantasy’s Cobalt B?

Cobalt B is a super smart gal who works for Hykros, and is the one who sets you up with your first pair of wheels, Falcon. In our brief interaction with her during the main story quest, we saw that she’s a bit of a quiet one, seemingly more interested in the tech she works on than any social interactions.

What is Tower of Fantasy Cobalt B’s banner?

Cobalt B made her initial debut in the CN version of Tower of Fantasy back in January 2022 and was actually the second limited Simulacra in the game. She’s finally available in the global version, with her first banner, Burning Raction, running from October 6 to October 27.

What’s the best Tower of Fantasy Cobalt B build?

Cobalt B is a strong, ranged DPS with great fire damage application, AoE capabilities, and great crowd control potential. She’s the first Simulacra with a weapon offering flame resonance, making her a great choice for fire-based teams. Her barrage skill is her crowning jewel, offering powerful damage and great range. If you want to use Cobalt B as your main DPS, you should aim to at least get her Flaming Revolver to three stars of advancement, as the DoT this gives you provides her kit with far more punch.

Tower of Fantasy Cobalt B advancement

You can advance Tower of Fantasy weapons by using their corresponding fusion cores, which you get by collecting more than one copy of a character. After you get your first copy of Cobalt B and her Flaming Revolver, you can purchase another copy through the limited store during her banner for 120 flame gold. Alternatively, you can get a duplicate of Cobalt B by pulling on the banner, but, of course, this is entirely up to RNG.

Advancing your weapons by spending fusion cores and gold unlocks special bonuses. Here are all of the bonuses you gain from unlocking each of Cobalt B’s advancement stars.

  • One star: each round of attack deals additional damage equal to 2% of the target’s current HP (cannot exceed 180% of attack)
  • Two stars: increases the weapon’s base attack growth by 16%
  • Three stars: dodge and charged attacks inflict Ion Scorch on targets that are already burned, dealing flame damage equal to 40% of their current attack every second for ten seconds
  • Four stars: increases the weapon’s base attack growth by 32%
  • Five stars: increases Ion Scorch’s damage to 60% of attack. Successful attacks with any weapon’s dodge skills refresh the duration of Ion Scorch
  • Six stars: your barrage skill inflicts burn for 15 seconds. Successful attacks with any dodge skills reduce the barrage’s cooldown by four seconds. This effect has a 1.5-second cooldown

What’s the best Tower of Fantasy Cobalt B matrix set?

Cobalt B has her own SSR matrices, which are likely to be featured on the limited matrix banner alongside her limited weapon banner. Her set complements her mobile combat style, allowing her to dodge more frequently and increasing her DoT application and damage capabilities. Alternatively, combining two of Samir’s set and two of Crow’s set is a great choice, boosting both her crit and damage per hit.

For an SR substitute, you can go with Sobek’s Swamp Shadow set, which boosts her damage based on how many enemies are in range. Or, if you need an R-rank option while you wait for something better to come along, go with Self-explosive, which gives you a small flame damage boost.

What are the best Tower of Fantasy Cobalt B team comps?

Due to her flame resonance, the best way to make the most of Cobalt B’s kit is to team her up with other flame units. For PVE content, we recommend matching her with Tower of Fantasy’s King and Tower of Fantasy’s Nemesis, a team that offers plenty of shatter potential, high burst damage, and great self-sustain.

For PvP, you should team Cobalt B up with Tower of Fantasy’s Claudia and Tower of Fantasy’s Zero. In this line up, Cobalt B acts as a sub-DPS, while Claudia is your main damage dealer. The combined high charge value allows you to switch between these two fierce gals to dish out discharge after discharge. Zero offers plenty of tankiness, and at higher advancement becomes a great healer.
