What is the Wuthering Waves Levitator?
The Levitator is a crucial bit of kit in Wuthering Waves. In terms of what it does, well, it levitates. With the Levitator, you can move obstacles out of your way or place things in certain positions to solve puzzles. Most importantly, you need it in the early game to clear a path and continue with the main quest. Fortunately, it shouldn’t take you long to get your hands on it.

How do I unlock the Wuthering Waves Levitator?
Unlocking the Levitator in Wuthering Waves is easy, and you should come across the tool as you progress. First, you need to clear the Grappling Hook tutorial in Jinzhou. Then, as as a continuation of the First Resonance quest, Sanhua gives you the Levitator and other key items to help you explore the game’s open world.
How do I use the Wuthering Waves Levitator?
Using the Levitator is easy, and better still, the game tends to point out when it’s time to use it. If you’re near an object you can levitate, the icon second-furthest on the left on the bottom of the screen should begin to glow yellow, and all you have to do is tap that icon to start levitating. From here, just use touch controls to aim the object and tap again to send it flying or place it down- or if you’re using a PC or keyboard, use the buttons indicated. It really is that simple.
If you are using a controller, though, the ‘put down’ option is hidden in a separate menu – hit LB to bring up the option and then hit Y to gently place the object.
Why is the Wuthering Waves levitator not showing up?
If you’ve nearly got through the first chapter of Wuthering Waves without the levitator showing up, don’t worry. It seems like there’s a random bug that stops the player from receiving the key item, but fortunately, it appears that the item automatically ends up in your inventory before the end of the chapter. Our advice is to carry on playing and the issue should solve itself before it hinders your progression.
