Screw you guys, I’m going home to see if there’s a new South Park game on the horizon. We’ve gotten plenty of South Park-flavor games over the years featuring Cartman and co, and usually a customizable character we can live through. But will we get a new game anytime soon? Let’s find out.
Perhaps you’re also looking for a new Star Wars game, or the new Mario game, or even a new Animal Crossing game if you fancy something different.
Is there a new South Park in 2025?
We currently don’t know whether there’s a new South Park game coming in 2025. However, we did see the release of South Park: Snow Day! on March 26, 2024, and you can tell we had a lot of fun with that one in our South Park: Snow Day review, so we’re hoping that we’ll see a new console entry sooner rather than later.
The next game could be a spin-off, another multiplayer title, a single-player romp with our customizable character once again, or something completely different.
What platforms will the next South Park game be on?
While we don’t have an announcement for a new South Park game just yet, we can make some speculations about what platforms it’ll come to. Previous mainline South Park games have been multiplatform, landing on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.
Additionally, The Stick of Truth is Steam Deck verified, and both The Fractured But Whole and Snow Day are playable on Steam Deck – and Snow Day and The Fractured But Whole are also available on GeForce Now, meaning you can play them on all the best portable gaming consoles.
Additionally, as previous South Park games are available on Switch, we also think it’s likely that they’ll be available on the Nintendo Switch 2, which Nintendo has confirmed is on the way in 2025 – so we’re keeping a close eye out.
Alternatively, 2025 might see a new South Park mobile game, which would undoubtedly be available across both Android and iOS. However, as we don’t have any announcements, we can’t say anything for sure.
