tinyBuild’s Hello Neighbor spin-off is bigger than ever, with the Roblox Secret Neighbor beta opening up the spooky doors to the basement. This variation on the Hello Neighbour formula sees you team up with a few friends to try and uncover the secrets under the house. But beware, there’s a saboteur at work, and one of your trusty friends is the neighbor themselves. It looks like we’ve got a new entry for our Roblox horror games list.

While Secret Neighbor has been available on other platforms for a while now, the arrival of the stealth title on Roblox is a boon for both the developer Hologryph and Roblox itself. Despite the popularity of the blocky gaming portal, many of the available experiences with popular IPs are less than official. So, for Roblox, it’s a bit of added IP credibility, while Hologryph and publisher tinyBuild enjoy an increase in a player pool with the millions active on the platform.

It’s not just scares and sneaking around in Secret Neighbor, though. You can hang out with friends in the experience hub, a free roam area full of series easter eggs, or you can try out ‘Brawl Mode’, Secret Neighbour’s answer to Mario Party, which has a host of engaging minigames to play with your pals.

It makes sense to see Secret Neighbor find its way to Roblox, especially with the popularity of similar eerie titles on the platform like Piggy, Rainbow Friends, and Doors. If you want to give it a go yourself, head over to the official Secret Neighbor Roblox page or check out the trailer below.
