Tears of Themis cards - empathy, logic, and intuition

Tears of Themis is a romance detective game with card-collecting mechanics, and is the first of its kind from Mihoyo. The developer is best known for its expansive RPGs Honkai Impact 3rd and, of course, Genshin Impact – worlds apart from Tears of Themis. The detective title features various romanceable characters, all of which have their own stories, and plenty of cases to solve.

What are Tears of Themis cards?

Tears of Themis cards – also known as visions – are a vital mechanic within the game. Each one boasts different stats that come in handy when facing different situations. For example, one card may have logic as its primary attribute, while another focuses on empathy. These differences are crucial when determining how to approach a conversation – when in a debate, the logic attribute is strong against empathy, but proves weak against intuition. So, pay attention to the approach your opponent takes.

How to get Tears of Themis cards?

Getting new cards is relatively simple, as they mainly arrive as part of in-game events. For example, three new cards are incoming as part of the Tears of Themis Summer Breeze event, which is running from August 5 until August 26.

Of course, there are also in-game purchases available, which allow you to buy upgrade materials for your cards.

What are the available cards in Tears of Themis?

Each character has many cards available, all of which boast different stats, skills, and benefits. Additionally, there are three rarities of cards – SSR, SR, and R. Naturally, SSRs are the most effective and offer greater benefits, including three skills, all of which can turn the tide of any situation you find yourself in.

This card has three max skills:

• Evasive manoeuvre II – the opponent gets a 49.04% decrease to defence for two turns
• Premonition II – for each intuition card in the primary deck, influence defence increases by 100
• Radical reformer II – all intuition cards in the deck get a 5.83% increase to influence

• Balanced II – this card gets a 770 increase to influence during debates
