The universe of League of Legends just keeps getting bigger, and one of its brightest shining stars is Teamfight Tactics. This tactical auto-battler takes franchise favourite champions and puts them in the heat of a new kind of battle. As is the case in LoL, TFT receives frequent updates to mix up the meta, as well as offering prolific players a challenge with new augments, items, and character buffs.

Can’t keep up with the updates? Don’t fret. Our TFT patch notes guide is all you need to catch up with the important information, so you can concentrate on strategising for the arena. Even if you think you’re well acquainted with all things Teamfight Tactics, it’s worth checking the patch notes for each update, as they often drastically shift the meta from previous incarnations.

Once you’ve digested the latest Teamfight Tactics patch notes, be sure to check out our TFT tier list, and our guide to TFT comps fit for the 6.5 set. If you’d rather dabble in another LoL world, see our League of Legends: Wild Rift guide, as well as our detailed League of Legends: Wild Rift champions lineup.

TFT version 12.4 patch notes

Riot Games tends to launch substantial updates for TFT, so we’ve highlighted the most important information from the latest version. If you want to read the patch notes in full, hit this link to get the full listings.

New Little Legends

PROJECT Abyssia is the brand new cyber-infused Little Legend arriving in 12.4. You have a 2% chance of finding Abyssia in a Neon Nights egg, so if you want to add this sword-wielding mini-robot to your armoury, you need both luck and currency on your side. As well as the new addition, Little Legends Fenroar, QiQi, and Hot Rod all receive a new cyber-sleek look and get a bunch of trait variants to exploit their potential.

Hextech Battle Arena

A new arena arrives as part of the latest update, complete with its own robo-nouncer. The Hextech Battle Arena is the perfect place for some of your more technologically advanced challengers to do battle. You’ll know just how you’re getting on as the new AI robo-nouncer has over 50 lines of dialogue to celebrate your victories and criticise your losses.
