How do I play the Genshin Impact Glittering Elixirs event?
Glittering Elixirs is a web event that runs from May 11 – 20. You can take part by logging into your Hoyoverse account and heading over to the official Glittering Elixirs event page, or by following the ‘special event’ link in the in-game pause menu.
The event tasks you with creating a variety of different potions. To make a potion, hit ‘start crafting’. From there, you need to follow these steps:
- Add your first ingredient to the pot
- Add your second ingredient to the pot
- Click on the mixing spoon and drag it back and forth
- Hit the bellows to the right of the pot to increase the heat
- Grab your potion!
If your ingredients don’t create a potion, don’t worry – you don’t lose them. You can just try again! Though, with our recipe list above, you won’t need to, of course.
How do I get more Genshin Impact Glittering Elixirs ingredients?
There are a few different ways to gain Genshin Impact Glittering Elixirs potion crafting materials. The main way is to complete the web event’s daily missions. You can check these on the event page by clicking on the banner icon with the exclamation point.
The daily missions are generally pretty easy, such as logging into the web event and the main game itself, using 40 original resin, and visiting specific Hoyolab pages. Every time you complete one of the daily missions, you can claim two surprise potion materials.
The daily missions reset daily at 4:00 server time, so be sure to snap them up before the day is through!
You can also sometimes claim special ingredients by tapping on Cyno or Nahida in the web event and having a chat with them.
What are the Genshin Impact Glittering Elixirs rewards?
There are quite a few rewards to claim for completing different milestones in the Glittering Elixirs web event – beyond the potion materials, of course! Firstly, you can claim a fistful of mora every time you unlock a new recipe in your potion crafting guide, and if you manage to unlock all 16 potions before the event is over, you can also claim five sanctifying unction to upgrade your in-game artifacts.
On top of this, you can claim the following Glittering Elixirs rewards throughout the event’s duration:
- Two potions obtained: 20 primogems, 10k mora
- Four potions obtained: 20 primogems, 40k mora
- Eight potions obtained: 20 primogems, 40k mora
- 12 potions obtained: 20 primogems, four hero’s wit
- 16 potions obtained: 20 primogems, four hero’s wit
- Obtain special crafting materials from Nahida twice: ten primogems, two mystic enhancement ore
- Obtain special crafting materials from Cyno twice: ten primogems, two mystic enhancement ore
When you claim the items in the web event, they appear in your in-game mailbox shortly after. Be sure to claim them there, too!
