The point of any Pokémon game is to ‘catch ’em all’, and Pokémon Café Mix is no different. While we’re rapidly approaching the thousand mark in the mainline series, Pokémon Café Mix has a much more approachable 13. That number doesn’t take into account special versions of each of the current available ‘mon, like Sweets Pikachu.
If you’re currently as obsessed with Pokémon Café Mix as we are, then you probably want to know exactly which Pokémon you can expect to encounter in your little café. Well, that’s where we come in. We’ve put together this list of the 13 strong possible Pokémon staff that you can recruit over the course of your adventure. We’ll also include any necessary information that will help you pick the right ‘mon for the job, and update this as new Pokémon arrive.
If you’re not sure whether or not this is worth your time, we can help with that. We’ve put together a Pokémon Café Mix review, which digs deep into how good (or not) it is. You can also check out our Pokémon Café Mix guide for tips on how to get started, and our Pokémon Café Mix Golden Acorns guide for tips on how to get more of them.
Here are all of the Pokémon available in Pokémon Café Mix:
Bulbasaur
This plant-like Pokémon specialises in small plates, and joins your staff after you complete order 77.

Charmander
The definitive best Pokémon ever (don’t question it) is one of the first you encounter in Pokémon Café Mix. The cute fire lizard is a dab hand at making drinks.
Speciality |
Drinks |
Squirtle
The water ‘mon is a small plates specialist and can help cool your coffee down if it’s too hot. Thanks Squirtle!
Speciality |
Small plates |
Pikachu
This electric mouse specialises in sweets, and is currently only available as a microtransaction or as part of a login event.
Speciality |
Sweets |
Jigglypuff
Jigglypuff isn’t currently available in Pokémon Café Mix, though has been confirmed for a future release. We’ll update this as soon as we learn more.
Speciality |
TBA |
Meowth
Similarly to Jigglypuff, Meowth is a confirmed future staff member who isn’t currently available right now.
Speciality |
TBA |
Slurpuff
It’s pretty obvious looking at Slurpuff that it likes the sugar, so it makes sense that it’s a sweets specialist.
Speciality |
Sweets |
Starly
What is it with Pokémon and sweets? We’d have expected a bird-type to like savoury snacks. But Starly is a sweet specialist too.
Speciality |
Sweets |
Lucario
Lucario will arrive in a future update, when we’ll confirm the speciality and more.
Speciality |
TBA |
Eevee
This classic ‘mon is the first you’ll recruit for your café, and is a tiresome and enthusiastic worker. A real model employee.
Speciality |
None |
Snubbull
We can’t imagine that many of you would be comfortable approaching a café counter that Snubbull is stood menacingly behind, but this Pokémon is really talented at small plates, apparently.
Speciality |
Small plates |
Munchlax
We’d be worried that Munchlax would eat us out of business, but we’d happily take this Pokémon on as a customer. Either way, the hungry Pokémon is good at making entrees. Check out our Munchlax evolution guide to learn about this ‘mon in the main games.
Speciality |
Entrees |
Minccino
This cute little Pokémon is good at whipping up sweets. Pokémon really like sweets apparently. We have a Minccino evolution guide if you want to learn more about it in the main games.
