What do we know about Jiaoqiu’s build?

First things first, Jiaoqiu does not fill a healer role in combat. He does not appear to have any healing capabilities despite being a military healer. He is a fire nihility character who specializes in applying debuffs to cause damage over time.

His technique, Fiery Queller creates a dimension around enemies that causes them to take damage. It also has a chance to inflict them with a stack of Jiaoqiu’s Ashen Roast debuff.

His element-based skill deals blast damage to all targets, while also having a chance of inflicting them with the debuff. This causes enemies to take fire damage over time during battle.

Jiaoqiu’s ultimate turns the battlefield into a literal hotpot, where all enemies take damage, including increased damage from any stacks of Ashen Roast that they may have. His ultimate also applies a field that causes enemies to take even further damage, while – of course – gaining stacks of Ashen Roast.

You can also pull his signature light cone, Those Many Springs, on the light cone banner while he is available. This will be tailored perfectly to his kit to complement his talents.

Who is Honkai Star Rail’s Jiaoqiu?

Finally, we get a male foxian character to balance out Honkai Star Rail’s Tingyun and Honkai Star Rail’s Yukong. Employed as a military healer under General Feixiao from the Xianzhou Yaoqing, he has cunning behind his smile. His family is well known in the Alchemy Commission.

Jiaoqiu is particularly interested in prescribing spicy foods as curative medicines, which fits well with his use of the fire element and flame-filled drip marketing artwork.

Who are Jiaoqiu’s voice actors?

You may recognize Jiaoqiu’s voice when he appears in-game – his English voice actor is none other than Mark Whitten, also known as Genshin Impact’s Kazuha. His Japanese voice actor is Toyonaga Toshiyuki, who plays Seiji in the upcoming Persona 5: The Phantom X and has credits in Fire Emblem titles.

The Xianzhou Luofu is eagerly waiting to welcome us back, so why not turn your attention to characters like Honkai Star Rail’s Bailu, Honkai Star Rail’s Jing Yuan, and Honkai Star Rail’s Yanqing?
