How do I encounter Pokémon Go’s Hoopa?
It’s unlikely that you’re going to cross paths with Hoopa by simply walking down the street. In fact, unless you took part in the Misunderstood Mischief special research last year, completing at least the first three steps, you can’t get your hands on Hoopa. For the time being, only those who took part in that event have any chance of owning Hoopa.
Who knows, perhaps a future event will see the mythical creature return, but we can’t see that happening for quite some time, if it does at all.
How do I unlock Pokémon Go’s Hoopa Unbound?
To get Hoopa Unbound, you must give the Confined Hoopa 50 candy, and use 10,000 stardust to make the exchange. If you don’t, then you’d best get saving. However, if we’re being honest, we think the Pokémon’s first form is of better use, despite how amazing Hoopa Unbound looks.
What are Pokémon Go Hoopa’s strengths?
Like any other creature, this ‘mon is highly resistant to various types of Pokémon. Therefore, it would be wise to avoid certain varieties to battle with you.
For Hoopa Confined, avoid:
- Normal
- Fighting
- Psychic
- Poison
For Hoopa Unbound, avoid:
- Psychic
What are Pokémon Go Hoopa’s weaknesses?
To get your hands on this mythical creature, you must consider what types it’s weak to, and, funnily enough, you just have to look at what Hoopa itself is to discover that. That’s right, as with most ghost-types, Hoopa Confined is weak to its own kind. However, Hoopa Unbound doesn’t share this weakness.
For Hoopa Confined, bring:
