There's one confirmed new Five Nights at Freddy's game to look forward to in 2026, along with a Roblox game that continues to elude us.

Want a new FNAF game? Of course you do. Well, so long as you like jump scares, horror, and some not-so-lovable animatronics. Even after all these years, Five Nights at Freddy's remains one of the most popular videogame horror series out there, so it's no surprise that we are getting a new one this year.

We absolutely love FNAF games at Pocket Tactics, so you can be sure that we're always doing our best to stay up to date on any news relating to the next FNAF game.

Is there a new FNAF game in 2026?

Yes, we're getting a new FNAF game in 2026, and it's Five Laps at Freddy's, which, as the name implies, is a kart racer - Mario, Sonic, and Crash won't know what hit them. However, beyond that, there's also FNAF Survival Crew, the long-awaited Roblox game that was supposed to launch in 2024, then pushed to 2025, yet we still have no word on when to expect it, and we're in 2026 now.

What platforms is the new FNAF game on?

Five Laps at Freddy's is coming to PC only, and you can already try it thanks to the demo on Steam. Until release, it's hard to say how well it'll run on PC handhelds, but we'll let you know. As for Survival Crew, it's coming exclusively to Roblox, meaning it'll be available on iOS, Android, Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Windows handhelds.

What will the new FNAF game be like?

Five Laps at Freddy's is a kart racer, so you can expect to join your favorite FNAF characters as you race around the track in familiar locations. Naturally, there are power-ups you can use to give you an advantage over the opposition - it looks to be utter carnage.

If you're familiar with FNAF, you likely already have a good idea of what to expect gameplay-wise when it comes to Survival Crew. However, it does offer something a little different. While you play as a security guard (because nothing bad ever happens to the security guard, just ask Mike Schmidt), you don't actually have to face the horrors alone, as you and three other players can team up as you face off against those awful animatronics.

That premise likely sounds familiar, and it should, as this is more or less another Dead by Daylight, except it's set in the world of FNAF. A group of players take on the role of survivors, while one other person controls one of the animatronics, such as Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. It's asymmetrical horror at its finest - maybe get a bit of practice in with DBD, Identity V, or The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
