Want a new FNAF game? Of course you do. If you’re a horror fanatic like me, you can’t get enough of Freddy and co, even if the animatronics are trying to kill you. This franchise holds a special place in the hearts of many, offering a first taste of spooks for some of you. So, can we expect a new Five Nights at Freddy’s game in 2024? Let’s take a look.

Is there a new FNAF game in 2024?
There’s not just one new FNAF game coming out this year, there are two. The first is a Roblox game titled Five Nights at Freddy’s: Survival Crew, which we first got wind of last year after it was accidentally released on the platform.
The second new FNAF game is Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into The Pit, a title with a retro feel as you go on a pixelated game of hide and seek with Springtrap. The game takes place in Jeff’s Pizza, and apparently, we “travel back to where it all began.” It looks like the FNAF series is returning to the truly spooky vibes.
Who know’s, given this year marks ten years since the release of the very first FNAF game, we might get some more surprise releases. We’ll be sure to keep our ears to the ground, particularly in the coming months.
What platforms is the new FNAF game on?
As Survival Crew is coming exclusively to Roblox, mobile gamers can enjoy the game on both iOS and Android, as can Xbox, PlayStation, and PC players. As exciting as an official FNAF game on Roblox is, we have to address the elephant in the room – Switch players can’t enjoy it as the games platform is yet to arrive on the console. However, if you have a Switch there’s a really good chance you have a mobile phone, so you can always play Survival Crew on there should you not have access to PC or other consoles.
The good news for Nintendo Switch players is that Into The Pit is coming to Nintendo Switch alongside other consoles and PC, so you don’t have to worry about missing out on both new FNAF games. However, there’s no word of an iOS or Android release for Into The Pit. Should that change, we’ll update this guide.
What will the new FNAF game be like?
If you’re familiar with FNAF, you likely already have a good idea of what to expect gameplay-wise when it comes to Survival Crew. However, it does offer something a little different. While you play as a security guard (because nothing bad ever happens to the security guard), you don’t actually have to face the horrors alone, as you and three other players can team up.
That premise likely sounds familiar, and it should, as this is more or less another Dead by Daylight, except it’s set in the world of FNAF. A group of players take on the role of survivors, while one other person controls one of the animatronics, such as FNAF’s Freddy, FNAF’s Bonnie, FNAF’s Chica, and FNAF’s Foxy. It’s asymmetrical horror at its finest – maybe get a bit of practice in with DBD, Identity V, or The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
As for Into The Pit, it appears as though you get to explore the building while Springtrap pursues you. We can’t say too much more, other than that there are some clear hiding places for you to make some use of.
New FNAF game release date speculation
Both Survival Crew and Into The Pit are due to release in 2024, but we don’t have a more solid window than that. As soon as we get more release details regarding either game, we’ll be sure to update this guide and let you know.
